uMngeni Municipality recently hosted a small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs) seminar at Howick West Indoor Sports Centre. The seminar was aimed at sharing much needed information with SMMEs to bolster their business.
uMngeni Municipality Mayor, Mbali Myeni said of the SMMEs SMMEs have a crucial role to play in addressing the country’s triple challenges of unemployment, poverty, and inequality. By their nature SMME’s are critical role players in absorbing labour, penetrating new markets and generally expanding economies in creative and innovative ways".
